The Language Initiative is a student initiative at the Graduate Institute with the mission of fostering language learning and cultural exchange among students. We believe that language education opens up professional opportunities, enhances cross-cultural understanding and promotes personal growth. To facilitate an engaging and comprehensive learning journey, we provide language classes in Arabic, Chinese, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish, maintain a tandem system, and offer fun language exchange events. Our goal is to create an inclusive and attractive environment where students can develop language skills, celebrate cultural diversity, and build connections with peers from different backgrounds.
